On May 14, 2020, as part of the Covid-19 virus emergency, the Governor of New York issued Executive Order 202.30 providing new rules for nursing homes to follow.  In addition, it requires hospitals to test all patients, who must have a negative result for Covid 19, before being discharged to, or back to, a nursing home.
